Available for group tours and events by appointment. The Museum and the Bed & Breakfast bring back essence of the Harvey House era on the Santa Fe Railway. This nostalgic charm adds a unique flare to any event. 

Slaton Museum
115 W. Lubbock Street
Hours: Wednesdays- Saturdays 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The growth of Slaton is displayed in unique exhibits created by families and friends of Slaton. See our collection of railroad memories and a commemorative military display. Slaton's history is represented with annuals, photos and so much more.

Steam Engine 1809
Located on town square. built in 1906, the "Cotton Special" made runs to Houston delivering cotton from this area to the gulf ports. In 1955 it was dedicated to the City of Slaton.

Slaton Heritage Mural
9th & Garza
Painted by Bill "Tex" Wilson, this mural captures the heritage of Slaton. Tex grew up here and is a nationally esteemed artist whose works feature railroaders and cowboys of th4e Old West .More of his work is in the Slaton Museum.
