The Parks and Recreation Department offers facilities rental, playground equipment for children, picnic tables, and more.
Slaton Park - 15th & Garza Avenue. This is a county park with playground equipment, club house and party house. Both the club house and party house are available for rental. For information call (806) 828-5121.
Elgie Allen Park - 1000 South 3rd Street. The park has picnic tables, playground equipment, a full basketball court and a backstop with bleachers for friendly ball games.
Russell Park - 22nd Street and Terry Drive. Small neighborhood park with no recreational equipment, but has a few trees for a picnic. The middle of the park is a wide open space to play Frisbee or catch with your kids.
